This is the first doctor I have in my life that is actively attentive, proactive in my health, and explains her decisions / recommendations with data that she explains clearly. She caught a dangerous situation with me before it became an issue that my last doctor missed multiple times. She also offers multiple solutions when insurance becomes an issue, as my insurance often gets in the way of care. Despite moving 40 minutes away, she is easily worth the drive. She has given me back some hope in American healthcare.
Dr Roopam Shyam is wonderful. My husband and I have been seeing her for a couple years now. She is very busy but takes time to listen and talk to us. She is very professional and knowledgeable yet personable with a sense of humor that makes you feel relaxed. I also appreciate that it’s very easy to make appointments online. We can typically get in the next day. Wait time is short especially for morning appointments.
